This course is ideal as an introduction to anyone who thinks they would like to write for children but may not know for sure which age-group would most suit them. Or maybe you know but aren’t sure how to get started. The course runs for ten weeks through a dedicated, password-accessed website with five separate downloadable modules covering ideas and content, characterization, structure and plot, settings and style. The modules will carry a mixture of information, practical advice and writing tasks. There will also be some useful video content and regular opportunities for chat within the group, as well as some general feedback (more detailed individual feedback on writing tasks is offered for an additional fee of £50).
